Your responsibilities:

  • leading, coaching and developing a team of GL Accountants (10-15 employees), ensuring strong performance and engagement;
  • oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements;
  • ensure that the reporting package in corporate systems is delivered in accordance with group policy (including IC reconciliation);
  • monitor and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs prepared by the team;
  • act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors;
  • identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality;
  • collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, local entities, and other SSC teams to resolve accounting issues and support business needs;
  • support transitions, knowledge transfers, and onboarding of new processes within the SSC.

Our requirements:

  • relevant work experience in leadership role in General Ledger;
  • very good command of English (spoken and written); German is an asset.
  • strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles;
  • excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills;
  • strong communication and stakeholder management abilities;
  • proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills;
  • experience gained in one of the Big 4 companies (audit or advisory) will be considered a strong asset;
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
